The Israeli Society For Science Fiction and Fantasy
The society was founded in May 1996 and has been active ever since. The Society's goal is the promotion of Science Fiction and Fantasy in Israel. The Society's activities include several conventions, including the Passover Fantasy.Con and its role as a partner in the Icon festival; Genre film Premieres; Lectures on topics related to Science Fiction and Fantasy such as the annual Amos Geffen Memorial lecture series at Beit Ariela in Tel Aviv. The Society fosters several regional fannish organizations and helps organize many regional events. The Society has created many events that help foster original SF&F fiction and gives out the annual Geffen award for best Science Fiction book, Best Fantasy book, and Best Original story and novel. With the help of the Culture Administration, the Society publishes the 10th Dimension magazine, which contains original and translated stories, reviews and articles. The Society's website publishes chapters of new books, as well as stories and articles.

Starbase 972 - The Israeli Star Trek Fanclub
Starbase 972 was formed on May 1998 aiming to create an organizations for all of the fans of the Star Trek series in Israel. Star Trek has been exciting the imaginations of fans for four decades, and is one of the most important shows in Television history. Star Trek is unique due to the fact that it deals with the human experience and with social, moral, philosophical, and scientific questions and aims to educate. The series has millions of fans around the world and an entire culture was formed surrounding the show. Since its creation, the Fanclub has been organizing various events - from regional events and episode screening at universities to pre-release film screenings and national events. And it is a founding partner in the annual Icon festival in Succott. The Fanclub also publishes a quarterly magazine for its members and operates a website. In recent years, due to the requests of the organization's membership, the Fanclub has expanded its scope to a wide variety of interests. Star Trek is still at the heart of its operations, but the Club fosters many communities: Babylon 5, Stargate, Transformers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and many other fandoms relating to SF&F are now a part of the many projects organized for the members of the Club and Israeli fandom in general.

Israeli Roleplaying Society
The Israeli Roleplaying Society was formed in 1998 in order to organize and promote roleplaying games in Israel, and to foster a national community of gamers as well as encourage others to roleplay. The society is a non-profit organization, and all of its members are volunteers. All revenues of the society are devoted to promoting roleplaying in Israel. Amongst the society's activities are conventions, chief amongst which is the annual roleplaying convention Bigor, held annually during the Passover vacation. The Society has also become a partner at the Icon festival in recent years. The society publishes "The Fifth Facet" - a roleplaying magazine which is both printed and published online and which contains original articles, reviews and works by members of the community. The Society maintains a website which includes "The Guild", the Israeli roleplayers' database. It further organizes lectures and workshops, and social activities. The society organizes live roleplaying games - multiplayer events with sets, costumes and props created by the players. It also organizes a members' club and fosters regional activities throughout the country.
